Critical Foundational Pieces of Personality

Through research and the study of personality, researchers have identified the Big Five traits as the critical foundational pieces of personality of each individual. In your discussion, you’ll be exploring which of these are most important to you and explaining your own thoughts on whether nature or nurture is more important in shaping personality. Please consider all of the following in your discussion:   Imagine you are choosing team members for a survival contest. What Big Five traits would you want your team members to have? Would it be better for them to have similar personalities, or different ones? Why? Understanding that both genetics and environment play a role in shaping personality, weigh in on which one is more important. Explain and support your position, and use a personal example. How can what you learned in the TED Talk influence your actions and behaviors, including at work/in your career?
