I need help with the revision of this assignment.

Instructions: For this assignment, you will do a search for resources in your chosen topic area, and then write a paper that describes the thought process you used to locate the resources. Begin by creating a chart (a general example has been provided below), and then list the resources you find.

[shortposting]

Be sure to start at the Databases or Find an Article page in the Library for the scholarly articles and the Find a Book page for a book. Locate three peer-reviewed journal articles, one book chapter, and one scholarly resource (website or other resource).

The columns of the chart are as follows:

  • Column 1 – Include an appropriate citation (APA form) for the resource (article, book, other) you discovered in the library.
  • Column 2 – Provide the name of the database you used AND briefly describe the subject content, resource types, etc.
  • Column 3 – List the keywords you used in your search.
  • Column 4 – List any search limiters such as full text, date, peer-reviewed, etc. that you used.
  • Column 5 – Provide a note about issues that arose and how you can improve your searching skills.

Conclude your assignment with some general remarks that comment on the following:

  • What is a database?
  • How useful was each database for you?
  • What about your experience was most confusing or frustrating?
  • What important journals, key scholars, or new ideas did you discover from your search?
  • What is your one take-away for conducting future searches?

Length: Chart and a 1-page paper

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style where appropriate.

When research data information, some articles does not always download due to an error or document being corrupted on the database systems. Some articles does not relate to the topic you are researching for each assignment or projects, which makes research difficult to choose the right article for any assignment or project topic.

Conclusion

This paper began with a database search for differences in learning styles. Following the database search a table was created to highlight the topic, source, keywords, and issues. Overall, the database is a good resource for students or anyone to use to research data information. The electronic database is the database I use for school purposes.  Database is a good resource for students or anyone to use to research data information. Electronic database is the database I use for school purpose. Jančiauskas (2011) believes, Humanistic education provide learners to understand the requirements, freedom and develop responsibility, be able to adapt to humanistic values             like their own values, form positive self-evaluation and focus on the behavior in learning activities. Other benefits include joining cognitive and emotional elements of teaching (Jančiauskas , 2011, p.18)

Database can be use for personal and work purposes as well. Databases are very helpful because you can choose any databases to search data information, analyze the information you want and need or plan to search and learn good techniques for effective researching topics or subjects. You also can save your selected information for your assignments or projects. An alternative way you can find any database is use the A-Z database list to do research on subjects or topics. Janakova (2011) states, “Educational quality of using education materials such as library databases are very effective in today’s school education environment”(p.42).

The most frustrating part of researching information by using databases is finding a good research for personal, schoolwork or work purposes. Another frustrating part is to find valid or scholarly/peer reviewed for school and other purposes. For personal or work purpose, it is unclear whether or not to use scholarly/peer review articles for the projects or assignments. The new ideas I discovered in researching are finding alternative databases besides using EBSCO host, quick lists and strategies to help decrease researching references. The situations that will take away my future research are using non-scholarly articles, non-academic databases, book sources, magazine sources and non-academic researchers.
